This nomadic family of three just came back from a two (yes, just two!) day trip to Dumaguete and the Mystic Island of Siquijor.
We were actually airborne (five minutes before landing) when the killer quake jolted most of Visayas.
Thank God we were unscathed!
Imagine what could have happened if the runway cracked open as we landed.
Horrific!
DUMAGUETE PLAZA |
SIQUIJOR TOWN PLAZA |
As usual, I have tons of stories to tell.
We had the time of our lives enjoyingeach others' companies and the white powdery sand of the Islands.
AT COCO GROVE RESORT IN SIQUIJOR |
But sadly, the "kuwento" has to wait until I have the time to upload pictures and organize them into a real blog post.
If only I could blog directly from my mind.
Oh well.
The most I could do now is to give "pasalubongs" to my faithful readers (yes, the last three of them, hehehe).
While in Dumaguete, we discovered a Pastry shop that serves heavenly Sans Rival.
YES THAT IS THEIR NAME: SANS RIVAL |
Boy oh boy, you would literally forget everything while chewing their butter filled Sans Rival.
TO DIE FOR! |
Let me tempt you further some more.
We were there around five in the afternoon on a weekday and yet the shop is full to the brim.
You need to line up just to be served.
Anyway, I was supposed to buy you guys some Sans Rival.
However, I found out that they do not sell small slices of it. You have to buy the whole cake.
I would have bought except that I am afraid the whole thing will collapse even before we touchdown in Manila.
So, I brought you all the next best thing: CRUNCHY SILVANAS!
It is the same as sans rival except that it is already pre-cut and ready to share.
And, as a bonus, let me also give you a sampler of their another delicacy: CHORIZO!
I know this is not much folks. I just want to share some love to you all.
Hurry, first six people who would comment after this post win!
The good are just for pick up so this giveaway is really for my readers within Las Pinas.
Giveaway starts in 3 2 1. :)
